This website is built solely as a playground for Qurio, the audience engagement platform for local newsrooms and reader-powered media. To learn more about us, visit our real website which is https://www.getqurio.com/.

We built WNJ as a demo area to exhibit how Qurio would work on a typical local newsroom website.

• The newsroom’s name is a compilation of the most popular media naming attributes derived from our news and media database. A human compiled and decided on the final name.
• All of our authors are not real people and their names were automatically generated from this random name generator.
• In a similar fashion, the authors’ profile pictures came from Random Face Generator (This Person Does Not Exist).
• As you may have guessed, the articles themselves were written by ChatGPT.
• Article summaries were produced by distilbart-cnn-12-6.
• Qurio survey questions were written, again, by ChatGPT.
